BetaCaseLens is in beta — the cases you make are real and yours to keep. If something breaks or reads wrong, tell us with the feedback button and we'll come back to you.

How it works

From company name to classroom-ready case.

01

Tell us the company

Any company with a public footprint. Optionally steer the focus with your own notes and strategy-topic selections.

02

CaseLens researches and writes

A staged pipeline of agents gathers sources, builds financial tables, drafts the case, and runs quality checks (~10 minutes).

03

Review, then license for your class

We email you a link to your private copy when it's ready. Review it, then license it for your class to receive a permanent, shareable link.

Under the hood

More than a prompt.

You can always ask a chatbot for a case. CaseLens exists because a classroom-ready case needs more: consistency, credible data, documentation, and a format students can learn to work in.

A strategy knowledge layer

Between you and the AI sits documented strategy teaching content: the same primer topics you select when creating a case and its teaching note. That layer frames what the case emphasizes and how it is written for the classroom, so the output is shaped by curriculum, not “vanilla” AI.

A consistent format across cases

Every case has the same eleven sections in two parts: a company report and a teaching case. Students learn to work through a company systematically, and you can put two companies side by side without translating between formats.

Agents that collect, write, and check

Separate agents research the company, extract financial data, write the case, and run quality checks: voice and register, citation integrity, and concept linking. No single unchecked generation.

Connections to trusted data sources

Financial statements come from a structured financial-data provider where the company is covered (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and ratio tables), and the narrative draws on cited public sources with numbered references students can follow and verify.

Strategy concept tags

The passages where a strategy concept is at work (Five Forces, business models, resources and capabilities, and more) are marked in the text; tapping one shows the concept and how it applies to this company, so students see frameworks translated onto a real business.

Annotation for the classroom (in testing)

Faculty leads and students can highlight passages and take margin notes directly on the case, with one-click Markdown export.

Sample cases

Read a finished case before you buy one.

These are complete CaseLens cases, exactly as your students would see them: eleven sections, financial tables, cited sources, and the strategy concepts marked in the text.

Built for the AI era

Designed to be used with AI, not hidden from it.

Cases can be copied and shared with AI

There are no copyright restrictions on a CaseLens case. You and your students can paste it into any AI tool, build assignments around it, and engage with the content freely.

AI options are pre-baked, so discussion goes further

Each case already includes AI-generated strategic options. Classroom discussion doesn't become a rehash of what a chatbot said the night before; it becomes a critique of the AI's options and a broader consideration of choices and implications.

A permanent link for your class

Once student licenses are purchased, the case lives at a permanent URL you can put straight into your syllabus or LMS, with no student accounts required.

Compared with traditional cases

A complement, not a replacement.

We do not view CaseLens as a replacement for traditional cases. We believe CaseLens offers a complementary way for students to evaluate real businesses and industries using the concepts and frameworks from the classroom, and there are things a professionally authored case does that we don't try to imitate.
